Project overview
PukkeConnect is a web-based platform designed to help North-West University students discover and join campus societies that match their interests and availability. The system uses a recommendation algorithm to suggest relevant societies based on factors such as students’ interests, study fields, and academic schedules.
The platform provides a student dashboard where users can view recommended societies, manage their activities, and receive real-time notifications about meetings and events. It also integrates with academic timetables to ensure students only see societies that fit their schedules. Societies can post announcements and updates, creating a centralized communication hub that improves student engagement and participation in campus activities.
